感恩節快樂!

Happy Thanksgiving! This week we had some awesome activities set up. Our ward was awesome and put on a Thanksgiving activity! Was there a lot of American food? not really, but the environment that was there was awesome! Members were talking with all of our investigators and members brought their friends. It was so fun!!

We also had the coolest opportunity to have the Deng family come to the baptism that the second ward had! They had come late but they really liked the song and the shares. I am really excited for their family to progress, it was cool because we were able to set the second child on date and helped them understand the plan of salvation through trusty drawings. (if you have any ideas on how to teach small children the missionary lessons, I. Would love to hear all of your suggestions.)

Nonspiritual thoughts:
The lady with a kickstand glasses came back but this time with a water bottle cap by her nose. It was awesome.

I also ate this super spicy pepper cause I have this spicy challenge with someone in my district and it made me cry lol. It was so spicy. The member that was feeding us just laughed at me and then 陳姐妹 said to send the picture to her so she could laugh at how ugly it was.

One of our members brought his turtles to the Thanksgiving activity and I made it high five me. It was so cute.

There was also no cooked turkeys at Costco and everyone was scared they would mess it up so they just bought small chickens.

We went to the Leofoo Village Theme Park (六福村)!

Going into the new ages!

It's happened...We are now out of the old dark ages of Nokia's and are using smart phones ! Its crazy and since I am an IPhone fan, so I'm still trying to figure out how to use an android smart phone but I'm excited to see how this helps missionary work!

One cool big miracle we saw was right after the training we went back to our area and we were going to go do language study, right outside the 7/11 was this mom and her three daughters . We started talking to her and she talked about how she hadn't seen missionaries in a while but she was more than willing to add our line and to have us come visit later that week. We met with her and we were able to set her and her oldest daughter on date! They also came to stake conference which was a huge miracle and blessing!

This week just has been full of big blessings as we have been trying to figure out how to do missionary work with phones.

I'm really blanking on things that have happened this week because it was such a huge change hahaha

Nonspiritual thoughts:

Its been getting really cold and so when it's been raining and windy I have been in this giant poncho from the 80's screaming every time a gust of cold wind blows at us when we bike.

I finally got to eat with the famous ward mission leader from Sanchong. We had basically all the missionaries eating hot pot in one place hahaha.

We have this awesome member that helped us to choose our phones and phone cases and afterwards we went to this ice cream place that is famous for their peanut butter! It was so good!

Have a happy Thanksgiving!!
