Avoid Cancer keep eyes healthy

Hello!!!! Can you believe a week has already passed? What did I even do last week...We went to a trampoline park and it was super ghetto hahaha. The trampolines were super loose and I slipped around but it's okay it was fun.

This week was transfers and well we didn't change! (training lol) but 朱姊妹 (Sister Chu) is training so we are in a tripanionship (they are having visa problem again so we are in threesome until the missionaries can fly in from U.S. The mission home honestly doesn't have any idea of when they can come) waiting for her new companion to come from America! It has been super fun! We currently don't have a district leader and the new elders who are white washing in haven't arrived yet cause one is waiting for their trainee but despite that we've seen some cool miracles:

One day when we were coming back from the train station we started talking to this girl from Indonesia and we set up a time to meet with her. Turns out that she avoided us lol and just wasn't at work when she said she would so we kind of put her on the back burner. But then one night we were like well let's just go see if she's at work and she was, so here we are scrambling around about what to share and we end up sharing just a bit about Christ and Light the world! It was cool and we were able to set up with her again!

Coral 林純如set a baptism date! Such a huge miracle!!!! We've been trying forever to help her set a date, and then we figured out some things about why she hasn't been wanting to and so in our coordination meeting we were able to discuss some members that would be able to help her. We had an awesome member help us and he helped her understand more about baptism and then she set a date!!

We were in Pingzhen for dinner and as we were leaving I see this guy with his hood pulled over and it's kind of dark so I'm like...probably don't want to talk to us. But then I am like nah gotta talk to everyone so we start talking to this guy and it turns out that he studied at NTUwhich is the top university here in Taiwan) and he studied philosophy so he was super interested in understanding different religions! It was so cool.

We went looking around with 朱姊妹 for some LA's in our area, but it turned out everyone that we had tried didn't exist or had moved a long time ago! As we were leaving we stopped at a light and there was about 10 seconds left on the light and so I'm like well quick contact right? She'll probably drive off as soon as the light turns green. I start talking to her about our free English class and then she ends up pulling off to the side of the road to talk to us and we had an awesome opportunity to share a little about what we believe in and set her up for this coming week. Such a big blessing.

I also got to go with Joanne to the temple! It was such a special blessing and I am so grateful that I got to go. The spirit was so strong as I saw her be baptized for the dead and it just helped me see how happy she was and how blessed I am to have met her and to know the gospel.

Nonspiritual thoughts:

To explain the title of this email I have to explain what happened. So here we were at night time going to the church really fast to make a bathroom break. On our way out Sister Sorenson looked down by her bike and saw this CD by her wheel. She picked it up and asked 朱姊妹 (Sister Chu)  to translate it and let's just say this CD with this piece of paper probably has the best advice I've ever heard of. The paper told us to and I quote 朱姊妹 "Avoid cancer. Keep eyes healthy." I mean who needs a doctor at this point?

You know you're tired when you mix up the words "I'm very thirsty" for "I'm very delicious." Sorry 朱姊妹!
